If you have declared a major in Speech Communication, you have already been assigned an advisor. Lists of majors and their assigned advisors are posted outside the Department Central Office in Shepard Hall.
If you are not a major in Speech Communication, you should:
Contact the Speech Communication Central Office (drop by or phone 737-2461) for help in finding an advisor to discuss the major. Most of our advising faculty prefer to have students visit them during their posted office hours; we can help you find a preliminary advisor who has office hours that will fit your schedule.
To become a communication major,you will need complete an application to the major once you have competed the prerequisite core of classes. This application, as well as major and minor checklists, can be found at the Department Central Office in Shepard Hall.

To graduate, you need an average of 2.00 across your communication coursework, just as with your University coursework.
