Does your product's flavor disappear too quickly?
Do you have a bitter taste that increases with time?
How long does the mint flavor of your product last?

Need answers to these questions and more?

Let Us Help!

Time Intensity TestingTime-intensity testing is used to determine if the intensity of a descriptor changes with time. This type of test is typically performed with our trained panelists who undergo extensive training to rate and identify specific descriptors over time. Past time-intensity work includes:

  • Mouthwash
  • Bitterness compounds (i.e. beer)
  • Flavor release (i.e. chewing gum)
  • Astringency

Time-intensity data is collected with a computerized software program that records intensity responses at designated time intervals. Easy-to-read graphics and anlysis of the data are provided.
