The nominator shall submit the completed nomination form; the nominee’s professional resume; the nominee’s position description; evidence of the nominee’s successful international activities; and three letters of support: two may be from clients or current or former colleagues, and at least one of which must be from a current or former student. Additional information submitted with the nomination will not be considered. The nominator is not eligible to submit a letter of support. The letters of support each shall not exceed three single-sided pages using at least 12 font and 1" margins. Signatures on the letters and supporting documents must be included, but may be electronic.
One original and seven double-sided copies of each nomination for the International Service Award must be received by February 27, 2009. It is necessary to follow the instructions completely or the nomination will not be considered. Send nominations to: Faculty Recognition and Awards Committee, c/o Faculty Senate Office, 107 Gilkey Hall.
Do not place nomination packets in folders or binders, staple each copy of the nomination packet in the upper left-hand corner, and paper clip the original. The nomination packet for the successful recipient becomes University property and will not be returned to the nominator.
