The agenda for the February Senate meeting will include the reports and other items of business listed below.

1. ACTION ITEMS

   1. Approval of Minutes
      Approval of the January Faculty Senate Minutes.
   2. Category I Proposals
      John Lee, Curriculum Council chair, will present for approval the following proposals:
      
      • Renaming the BS, MS, and PhD Degrees in Nutrition and Food Management
      • Graduate Certificate in Fisheries Management
      • Graduate Certificate in Marine Resources Management
      
      
      

2. SPECIAL REPORTS

   1. Business Centers
      Nancy Heiligman, Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration, will present a brief explanation of Business Centers and an update of the Business Center pilot project.
   2. Increasing International Student Enrollment
      Provost Randhawa and Vice Provost Becky Johnson will provide an overview of our goal to increase international student enrollment and discuss a possible partnership with INTO, a company that assists Universities in attracting international students.
      
      
      

3. INFORMATION ITEM

   1. University Faculty Award Nominations
      Nominations will be accepted until May 6 for the faculty awards listed below. The criteria and nomination form for each award is linked to the Individual Awards page on the web.

      OSU has a highly qualified faculty and few opportunities to recognize their contributions - we depend on you to facilitate nominations for these awards.
