The Department of Rangeland Ecology and Management has several scholarship opportunites for students in our department.
The L.A. McClintock Memorial Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded towards one term tuition. This award is decided upon by the department faculty and is given to an outstanding undergraduate student who is pursuing a range degree at either Oregon State University or OSU at Eastern Oregon University.
The Thomas E. Bedell Undergraduate Internships Fund is a scholarship that allows one undergraduate each summer to intern at a ranch in Oregon. This gives a competent range student a practical knowledge of the everyday workings of a ranch and what is involved. At the successful completion of the summer internship the student receives funding for the next academic school years tuition.
The Thomas R. Bunch Range Management Scholarship is a $500 scholarship that is given to a graduate student or undergraduate student selected by the faculty of Rangeland Ecology and Management. The student must be a Range major with an interest in the Range Livestock Industry.
The Dillard H. and Anastasia M. Gates Graduate Scholarship is a $500 cash scholarship awarded to an outstanding graduate student in the department.
