Corvallis is wet and mild with short, dry summers and supports a mix of Cedar, Hemlock, Douglas fir and Oak, interspersed with grasslands dominated with cool season species.
Portland is similar to Corvallis, although it is slightly drier and slightly warmer.
Eugene is slightly higher elevation than Corvallis and slightly more mesic.
Roseburg is slightly higher, drier and warmer than Eugene. It supports Oregon oak woodland with mixed conifers on the uplands.
