Assistant Professor, Department of Rangeland Ecology and
Management."Semi-retired." Teach distance courses from home in Silver
City, New Mexico. Formerly Program Lead for Natural Resources B. S.
program, Extended Campus, OSU (1999-2005) and Program Lead for Natural
Resources B.S. program, Cascades Campus, OSU (2001-2005).

• Research focused on livestock grazing
• Provided field and classroom presentations and workshops on riparian ecology and management
• Director and primary author of joint Montana State University/University of Montana video-based course on "Stream and Riparian Area Management"
• Co-developer of methodologies for inventorying riparian areas and for assessing ecological condition of riparian zones
• Advisor/Instructor in Montana State University Extension Forestry Stewardship Program; taught landowner basic courses, wetland courses, logger stewardship workshops, and new advisor training workshop
