Workshop Northwest
OVERVIEW
Workshop Northwest is a three day workshop held at Oregon State University for high school newspaper staffs. Students have the opportunity to pick one main area of study and also one of five mini-courses.
COURSES
Courses cover a variety of topics, from leadership and newsroom management to publications resdesign on desktop. All classes are tuahgt by experienced profesionals and/or educators.
HOUSING & ACTIVITIES
Students are housed in supervised university residence halls on the OSU campus for two nights, receive seven meals, and are provided group recreational activities each evening. These activities include ice cream socials, games, and bowling.
COST
Students pay $260 which includes their housing, meals, courses, and activities. A $50 nonrefundable deposit is due with the mailed in registration form and all other balances are paid at registration.
