Eriophyid mites

Eriophyid mites are microscopic mites which are closely associated with the host plants on which they reside. While generally their damage is minimal, they can cause aesthetic and economic damage on some hosts grown in nursery production.

Mites are often classified based on the type of damage they cause. This classification includes: blister mites, bud mites, gall mites, and rust mites.
