Abiotic problems

This page is devoted to information for identifying and managing abiotic problems. Current links are listed to the left. Further links are planned.

A useful reference for identifying plant damage was developed by Dr. Jim Green, Oregon State University, based on a 1979 module by Dr. Green, Dr. Otis Malloy of WSU, and Dr. Joe Capizzi of Oregon State. You can find it at the link below. Plans to update the website are in the works.

A Systematic Approach to Diagnosing Plant Damage

A useful guide with great images for diagnosing nutrient disorders was written by Theo G.L. Aendekerk. 1997. Fertilization Guide for Nursery Crops. Boomteeltpraktijkonderzoek, Boskoop, Netherlands.
