The Ornamentals Northwest Web Site is a cooperative effort to provide nursery and greenhouse crop producers with the latest information when they need it. Although this web site is hosted by Oregon State Univeristy, it is created by the Cooperative Extension Services of Oregon State University, Washington State University, and the University of Idaho, The British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Fisheries, and the USDA Horticultural Crops Research Laboratory.
ABOUT
ORNAMENTALS NORTHWEST
This web site is designed to be a virtual newsletter for the nursery, greenhouse, and landscape industries in the northwest. Inspiration for this web-based newsletter comes from the Ornamentals Northwest Newsletter that was initiated in 1975. Our goals are the same today as then: To provide cutting-edge and need-to-know information to nursery and greenhouse crop growers, and landscape managers, so that they can make informed decisions.
The coordinators of the Ornamentals Northwest web site are made by a group of horticulturists, researchers, teachers and other professionals as diverse as the ornamentals industries. Here is a current list of people who help make this web site happen.
