Latin name: Senecio jacobaea

Common name:  Tansy ragwort

Life cycle:  biennial or short-lived perennial, spreading by seed

Habit: Mounding to upright, grows 2 to 4 feet tall and wide.

Foliage:  Dark green, pinnately to bi-pinnately lobed.

Flower:  Flower heads are yellow with ray and disk flowers.  Flower heads often occur in clusters called corymbs.
