I am not sure if the pearlwort (Sagina procumbens) below is displaying cotyledons or true leaves.  This is the smallest that I have observed the plant.  The small yellow balls are Osmocote prills, to serve as a visual scale.

Small pearlwort look like little green spiders.

As with other container weed species, pearlwort reproduce prolifically by seed, and often germinate in large numbers (making handweeding difficult).
