Mouseear chickweed (Cerastium vulgatum) foliage is elliptical, with smooth margins, and very hairy.  Hairs on the stems, leaves, and flower buds are the most distinguishing characteristic of this weed.

Leaves are bisected by a sunken midrib, with no other veins obvious.
