Common lambsquarter (Chenopodium album) foliage is generally deltoid to hastate in shape.
Leaves are dull green to grey-green in color. This is because of glandular chalk deposits that occur on the leaf surface.
Upper foliage near the flower clusters is often linear and without lobes.
Stems are striated and may contain streaks of purple, red, or pink.
Stems are also ridged obvious to the touch.
