Main page Habit Foliage Flowers Seed
Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium) foliage is linear with smooth
but wavey margins. Veins are almost perpendicular to the midrib and
parallel to each other.
Foliage is generally 4 to 8 inches long and up to 1 inch wide. Leaves
are sessile (no petiole) along the stem and taper to a point at the tip.
Leaves are arranged alternately along the stem (although some may appear
to be almost opposite).
