Oxalis develop deep taproots, which makes
hand-weed difficult.
Stolons and rhizomes are not part of the root system, but instead
are considered modified stems. Nonetheless, it is appropriate to
discuss them along with the root system. O. corniculata is
stoloniferous while O. stricta is rhizomatous.
