OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY TO HOST BEAVER OPEN HOUSE ON OCT. 22

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State University's annual Beaver Open House on Saturday, Oct. 22, will give prospective students the chance to get a first-hand look at life on the OSU campus.

The event is designed for high school seniors, transfer students and others interested in attending OSU. Participants will spend the day touring the campus, learning about opportunities at OSU and meeting faculty, staff and students.

Program check-in is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at LaSells Stewart Center, followed by the welcome and academic presentations. An academic and activities resource fair is from noon to 1:30 p.m. From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., there will be tours, seminars and drop-in sessions with a wide range of groups, from housing to Dixon Recreation Center to admissions to financial aid and scholarships.

Pre-registration is available online at http://oregonstate.edu/visitosu/ or participants can register the day of the event at LaSells Stewart Center.
