CORVALLIS - The Music à la Carte concert series at Oregon State University continues with a performance by the OSU Concert Band on Thursday, Nov. 20.
The free public concert begins at noon in the Memorial Union Lounge on the OSU campus. Audience members are welcome to bring a sack lunch to eat while enjoying the concert.
The band will perform J.S. Bach's "Come Sweet Death," arranged by Alfred Reed; "An Original Suite" by Gordon Jacob; "Moorside March" by Gustav Holst, arranged by Gordon Jacob; and "Variations on a Korean Folk Song" by John Barnes Chance.
The Concert Band, directed by Robert Brudvig, percussion and theory instructor, is open to all currently enrolled students at OSU and rehearses every Wednesday evening in Benton Hall on the OSU campus. For more information on this group you may contact Robert Brudvig at 737-5600.
