CORVALLIS - Oregon State University will host its fourth annual Southern Oregon Intergovernmental Auction this Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Jackson County Public Works in White City.
Bidding begins at 10 a.m. with items available for previewing at 9 a.m.
Up for auction will be surplus property from OSU, Southern Oregon University, Medford Airport, Jackson County Roads and Parks, Jackson County Fire District No. 3, Jackson County Vector Control District, Jackson County Search and Rescue, Bear Creek Valley Sanitation Authority, and the Jackson County Finance Department.
Hundreds of items will be available for bidding, ranging from the large - a 1974 Walters fire truck with two Detroit diesel engines - to the not-so-large, like camera parts and card files.
Vehicles to be auctioned include a pair of dump trucks, a 1952 Jeep, and a paver. Kitchen and restaurant equipment includes a pair of espresso machines, electric cash registers, refrigerators, a pizza oven, meat and cheese slicers and a range.
Office equipment to be auctioned includes computers and accessories, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, bookcases and copiers.
There are numerous miscellaneous items up for bid as well, including a table saw, studio lights, a motorized truck mount hoist, space heaters, an electric floor buffer, and retractable awnings.
