CORVALLIS - A reception on Tuesday, Dec. 10, will honor George Keller, the vice provost for research and international programs at Oregon State University, who is retiring after 21 years of service to the institution.

The reception will be from 4-6 p.m. in the Memorial Union, Room 109, with opening remarks at 4:30 p.m. All OSU faculty and staff are welcome.

Keller, a marine geologist, joined the OSU faculty in 1975 as a professor of oceanography. He has served the university in a variety of positions since then as a scientist, educator and administrator of university research, graduate studies and international programs.
