However, in their free time, Sharon and Larry Rosenkoetter enjoy photographing wildlife during their many travels. More than 180 photographs of wildlife found in North America are featured in the exhibit, North American Wildlife, now showing in the Giustina Gallery at Oregon State University’s LaSells Stewart Center.

An artist’s reception will be held from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11. It is free and open to the public.

According to Sharon Rosenkoetter, an associate professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences at OSU, the photographs represent a broad range of the work that the Rosenkoetters have collected in the past 20 years. Her husband, Larry Rosenkoetter, is a retired faculty member with OSU’s Department of Psychology.bear1

The exhibit, which is co-sponsored by OSU’s Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, will show through September 30. The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
