Anita Azarenko

Anita Azarenko has been named associate dean for the Graduate School. She comes to the position having served on the faculty at OSU since 1986, and has served as head of the department of Horticulture since 2003. She is an author of more than 90 scientific papers and Extension publications.

Azarenko has administered a large and complex department and statewide program for nearly nine years. In that capacity she has successfully generated endowments and brought grant funds to OSU to support her programs and her department. She is the recipient of numerous awards both within her profession and for her administrative leadership. She has served on a wide variety of university, college and departmental committees so she is well known across campus for her energy and ‘can do’ positive attitude.

She will begin work with the Graduate School Aug. 7.
