Reagan Le, assistant director of the Asian and Pacific Cultural Center, has been recognized as the Professional Faculty Leadership Association’s November 2016 ‘Our Hero.’
He was presented with a plaque and an ‘Our Hero mug by PFLA representatives.
According to nominators, Le can often be found stepping in to do extra work without complaining, and does it well.
“Reagan is willing to lead efforts where others stand back–and when a colleague makes a mistake, Reagan helps them by picking up the pieces without shaming them. As an educator, Reagan has brought key faculty to OSU to help enhance student and faculty learning. He believes in what he does.”
Nominators say Le is kind, thoughtful, willing to share and help, and committed to advancing the team as a whole.
“This individual is what a true OSU employee should embody –a gracefulness to work with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations,” his nominators wrote. “Reagan is a gracious individual who takes the concerns of students and colleagues seriously. He personally takes the time to listen to others and advances their questions or concerns for deep consideration.”
