Research proposals approved for funding

After review and evaluation the Research Council provided this office with a prioritized list of proposals. The Vice President for Research has approved funding for three proposals with combined budgets of $29,900.

The following proposals have been selected for funding:

Beaver, Laura (School of Biological and Population Health Sciences, College of Public Health and Human Sciences): “Identification of Genetic Mechanisms by which Sulforaphane Prevents Prostate Cancer”

Bethel, Jeffrey (School of Biological and Population Health Sciences, College of Public Health and Human Sciences): “Disaster Preparedness among Latino Households in Marion County, Oregon”

Sinha, Arijit (Department of Wood Science and Engineering, College of Forestry): “Design and Evaluation of Novel Wood-Based Green Composite Panels for Structural Applications”
