General Research Fund (GRF) Fall 2012 Award Announcement

After review and evaluation the Faculty Senate Research Council provided the Research Office with a prioritized list of proposals. The Vice President for Research has approved funding for four proposals with combined budgets of $38,846.

The following proposals have been selected for funding:

Herlihy, Alan (Dept. of Fisheries and Wildlife, College of Agricultural Sciences): “Using Genetic Evidence to Clarify Species Identities and Evolutionary Lineages in the Freshwater Amphipod Genus, Ramellogammarus”

Hooven, Louisa (Dept. of Horticulture, College of Agricultural Sciences): “Fungicide Exposures to Honey Bees in Almonds”

Ivanchenko, Maria (Dept. of Botany and Plant Pathology, College of Agricultural Sciences): “Functional Genomics of Root System Establishment in a Model Crop Plant”

MacDonald, Megan (School of Biological and Population Health Sciences, College of Public Health and Human Sciences): “The Physical Fitness of School-Aged Children with Autism”
