More than 350 boxes full of donations for Haiti were piled up outside of Gill Coliseum Wednesday as volunteers loaded them onto a 48-foot truck donated by Reser’s Fine Foods. The items were gathered under an effort by former OSU football player Yvenson Bernard, whose family comes from Haiti.

Over 24,000 pounds of donated clothes, shoes, and hygiene products were loaded onto the truck on Jan. 27. They will be shipped to Haiti by the Haitian Consulate in Miami. Donations came from across the OSU community.
