Connected Through Glass

The latest Giustina Gallery exhibition highlights the delicate beauty of glass. “Connected Through Glass” features works by the OSU MUCC Glass Guild.

The Guild includes artists who create glass art using several techniques: fusing (technically referred to as kiln-formed glass), torch, or stained glass.

This exhibition features fused glass pieces, some of which include elements formed with the torch. The basic fused glass technique involves creating a design by cutting and layering clear and colored glass elements and then heating the piece in a kiln to a temperature high enough to “fuse” all of the parts/layers into one solid piece.

This exhibit will be open through the end of December. (Note: the facility will not be open during the Christmas holiday.)

The gallery is located in the LaSells Stewart Center.
