Location

The Mid-Columbia Agricultural Research and Extension Center is located on 56 acres two miles south of Hood River.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CENTER

Coming from Portland on I-84:
Take Hood River exit number 62. Turn right off the ramp onto Cascade Street (Highway 30) and follow until you come to stoplights at 13th Street. Egg Harbor restaurant is on the corner (right) at the lights. Turn right on 13th Street. Follow 13th up the hill. The street will turn into a one-way street at the top of the hill, as you are crossing May Street (hospital on left). Continue on 13th. This street will become a 4-lane, 2-way street, and then becomes a 2-lane, 2-way road named Tucker Road (cemetery on right, Nelson Tire on left). Follow Tucker Road until you come to "Your Rental Center" on the left (approximately 1/4 mile). Veer to the left in front of "Your Rental Center" where Tucker Road makes a 90 degree bend to the west, and follow Experiment Station Drive to the Center's headquarters.

Coming from The Dalles on I-84:
Take Hood River exit number 63. Turn left off the ramp onto Second Street (overpass). Continue to Oak Street. Turn right on Oak Street (Highway 30). Follow Oak until you come to stop lights (13th Street). Turn left on 13th Street. (Egg Harbor restaurant is on SW corner.) Follow 13th up the hill. The street will turn into a one-way street at the top of the hill, as you are crossing May Street (hospital on left). Continue on 13th. This street will become a 4-lane, 2-way street, and then becomes a 2-lane, 2-way road named Tucker Road (cemetery on right, Nelson Tire on left). Follow Tucker Road until you come to "Your Rental Center" on the left (approximately 1/4 mile).
