Air travel to Eugene
This page contains some information on air travel to Eugene, and is
intended for the use of participants in the conference on Stochastic Processes
and Their Applications.
Here is a list of airlines that serve the Eugene airport. United and
Horizon (a commuter line for Alaska and Northwest) have been in Eugene
for a long time, and Skywest (a commuter line for Delta) has been here
for several years. In the last few years, several other airlines have started
service to Eugene and then dropped it after several months, so the information
here may well be outdated quickly.

- Alaska Airlines serves the western U.S. and locations in Canada, Mexico,
and Russia. Its service to Eugene is via its commuter line Horizon Air

- Delta Airlines is a major international carrier. It serves Eugene via
its commuter line Skywest Airlines (The Delta Connection) from Salt Lake

- Horizon Air is a regional airline associated with Northwest Airlines
and Alaska Airlines. It operates direct flights (using small planes) from
Portland and Seattle to Eugene.
- Lufthansa.
- Lufthansa, based in Germany, serves Eugene via its partnership with

- Northwest Airlines is a major international carrier, with a partnership
agreement with KLM. Its service to Eugene is via its commuter line Horizon

- Sky West Airlines is a regional airline associated with Delta Airlines.
It operates direct flights (using small planes) from Salt Lake City (a
major Delta Airlines hub) to Eugene.

- United Airlines is a major international carrier. It operates direct
flights using normal size planes from San Francisco and Denver to Eugene.
It has a commuter line, United Express, which operates direct flights using
small planes from Portland and Seattle to Eugene.
