Cole's Prostrate Canadian Hemlock tsoo-GA ka-na-DEN-sis
- Conifer, evergreen dwarf shrub, prostrate, spreading habit, slow growing, up to 1 ft high and 3 ft wide
(0.3 × 0.9 m), dark green needles contrast with the silvery bark of the main horizontal branches.
Considered an excellent rock garden plant.

- Hardy to USDA Zone 4 The original plant was collected by H. R. Cole in 1929 at
bottom of Mt. Madison in New Hampshire (Swartley, 1984).
