Hungarian Lilac si-RING-ga jo-si-KIE-a
- Broadleaf deciduous shrub, 8-10 ft (2.4-3 m) tall with somewhat greater spread, arching, multi-stemmed. Leaves opposite, simple, broad-elliptic to elliptic-oblong, 5-13 cm long, acute to acuminate, entire, dark green above, whitish below. Flowers lilac-violet in loose clusters (panicles) that are 10-20 cm long, slightly fragrant; blooms in May-June.
