Black Lace Elder or Elderberry        sam-BEW-kus ni-GRA

• Broadleaf deciduous shrub, compact to about 6-8 ft (1.8-2.4 m) tall and wide.  Leaves finely cut (laciniate), dark purple almost black.  Flowers medium pink.
