Dwarf Flowering Almond
- Deciduous, multi-stemmed, shrub, 3-5 ft (0.9-1.5 m) tall and 3-4 ft (0.9-1.2 m) wide, stragly. Leaves alternate, simple, 3-9 cm long and 2-2.5 cm wide, oval-oblong to oblong-lanceolate, cenate, finely serrate, petiole about 5 mm long. Flowers simple, white to pink, corolla about 1.2 cm wide. Fruit globose, 1 cm wide, dark purple-red.

- Hardy to USDA Zone 4 Native to central and northern China. Several cultivars, including: 'Alba', single, white flowers; 'Albo Plena', flowers double, white; 'Rosea Plena' ('Sinensis'), flowers double, pink.
