• Narrowly pyramidal; leaves shiny dark green, with rounded lobes, fall color from yellow to burgandy.  Sometimes reported as not bearing fruit, but this is not the case.
• Hardy to USDA Zone 5      Was discovered in the wilds of North Carolina in 1930
