Blakely's Red Gum, Forest Red Gum eu-ka-LIP-tus
- Evergreen tree, single trunk, to about 80 ft (25 m) tall, bark smooth, patches of white, gray, blue-gray, pink, or cream-yellow. Juvenile leaves alternate, ovate to suborbicular; adult leaves alternate, simple, lanceolate, 9-16 cm × 1-2 cm, apex acuminate, margin entire, petiole 15-22 mm long. Flowers about 1.5 cm diameter, white or pink, in 7-11 flowered axillary clusters (umbels), buds conical.
