Grayswood Pink Rockrose SIS-tis
- Evergreen shrub, to about 3 ft (1 m) high and a 5 ft (1.5 m) wide. Foliage gray-green. Flowers pink with a yellow center, 4.5 cm wide.
- Full sun, well-drained site, drought tolerant. .
- Hardy to USDA Zone 6? Award of Garden Merit, 2002, Royal Horticultural Society.
- Derived from a cross of C. parviflorus x C. sintenisii. Apparently sometimes sold incorrectly as 'Silver Pink' or C. parviflorus. Cultivars 'Barnsley Pink' and 'Chelsea Pink' are synonyms or possibly seedlings from 'Grayswood Pink' (The Cistus & Halimium Website, www.cistuspage.org.uk).
