Korean Gold Plum Yew sef-a-lo-TAKS-us ha-ring-TON-ee-uh
- Conifer, evergreen, dwarf, may in time reach 6-10 ft tall and 3-6 ft wide (1.8-3.0 × 0.9-1.8 m), but it is slow growing, possibly
only 3 ft tall after 10 years; narrow, upright, compact form. Needles about 7 cm long, emerge in
lemon yellow, before aging to green in summer or fall.
- Part to full shade.
- Hardy to USDA Zone 5 Reportedly introduced into the US from Japan in
the 1980s by Barry Yinger of Brookside Gardens, Maryland.
