- Evergreen ground cover, 8-18 inches (20-45 cm) high, greenish-yellow in summer, changing to orange-red and reddish in winter. Rose-purple flowers in slender 20-25 cm long clusters in late summer.
- Sun. Does well in low nutrient soils.
- Hardy to USDA Zone 4 Developed from Gloucester Boy and named after the eldest child of the actor, Charlie Chapman. Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit, 1993.
