- Broadleaf deciduous tree, grows rapidly, may attain 50 ft tall and 40 wide (15 × 12 m), upright,
pyramidal habit when young, at maturity, broad oval habit. In the mature tree, leaves ~3-4 inches
(7.5-10 cm) wide, with almost a cutleaf appearance, deeply 3-5 lobed with a long central lobe, giving the
leaves an arrowhead shape; color is medium green above and light green to gray below, fall color is yellow,
orange-red to burgundy.

- Hardy to USDA Zone 3 The tree was discovered in 1990 on an
abandoned farm site in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Patented in 2000, PP11,322, and the trademark
registered in 2003.
