23/04 :  NEW TV SHOW FOR OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY’S STUDENT RUN TV STATION

Open World is a new TV show on Oregon State University’s student run television station (channel 26) and is produced by Agnes Roche. The show hosts local International students and gives these students the opportunity to share their culture with the rest of the OSU community. The goal of the show is to encourage both International and American students to create lasting bonds by providing them with a new media of communication.

Each Thursday Open World receives members of a foreign country as well as American students who have been to that country. The show airs from 9pm to 10 pm. During the first half hour the International students present their country and culture, and during the second half hour both International and American students are interviewed about their experiences of living both here in America and abroad.

Currently, the show is looking for motivated volunteers of all nationalities to be a part of the crew, so if you are interested in filming contact KBVR-TV at 541 737 3522
