Orienteereing Kit

Orienteering Kit OSU Extension Klamath

Orienteering is an adventure sport that uses maps and compasses to emphasize important survival skills. With this kit, students in grades 6-12 can learn problem solving, geography, and navigation skills as they learn how to operate a compass and read a map of their community. This kit includes 30 compasses (same model to ease instruction), instructions on how to use a compass, Orienteering and Map Games for Teachers, Staying Found, and Finding Your Way Without a Map or Compass. Maps are available upon request to accompany this kit.

Contact the Program Coordinator and reserve this kit at (541)883-7131.
