The Center for the Humanities is proud to join the Oregon State University Research Office and the Department of English in supporting Jon Lewis as Editor of Cinema Journal, the nation's leading academic journal in film studies. Jon Lewis is Professor of English at Oregon State University, and has been named a Center Fellow four times in support of his scholarly studies of American film and film culture. He is, most recently, editor of The End of Cinema as We Know It: American Film in the Nineties (2001). Cinema Journal is published by the University of Texas Press, and is the official publication of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies.
