I’m one of the many aspiring physicians here at OSU which basically means that I do too much, study a lot, don't sleep, and drink tons of coffee. Mostly this means, as clichéd as it sounds, that I really do want to help people.

I was born in Calcutta, India and raised in Salem, Oregon. I graduated from Sprague High School in 2003, where I played soccer and put off college consideration until my senior year. After attending community college for one year, I transferred to Oregon State, where I’m currently a fifth year undergraduate student. I’m a microbiologist who’s also pursuing a Honors degree, in addition to minors in Chemistry and English Literature. My goal is to attend medical school once my studies at Oregon State are completed.
