Comprised of funds received through annual contributions and long-term pledges, the Dean’s Scholarship is available to both entering and continuing Honors students with documented financial need. Availability of funds determines award level.

Supported by annual contributions from Mr. Mike Hogue of eastern Washington, the Hogue Scholarship is available to students entering the UHC and OSU. Funds are awarded on a one-time one-year basis. Scholarship amounts depend on availability of funds and may vary from year to year with a maximum scholarship of $1000.
Criteria: Preference given to residents of eastern Washington or eastern Oregon or students majoring in an agriculture-related field entering the UHC and OSU.

Supported by an endowment established by Mrs. Margaret Walton (OSU 1955). The Walton Scholarship is available to students entering the UHC and OSU from smaller Oregon high schools (graduating classes 125 or less). Funds are awarded on a one-time one-year basis. Maximum scholarship amount is $500.
Criteria: Graduate of an Oregon high school with fewer than 125 students in the graduating class with FAFSA certified unmet financial need.

Supported by an endowment established by Ms Sally J. Tripp to support female students from single parent homes entering the UHC and OSU with a FAFSA certified unmet financial need, and whose academic major falls within the College of Science or the College of Liberal Arts. Maximum scholarship award is $1500 annually.
Criteria: Preference given to women entering the UHC and OSU. Students in select academic areas drawn from the College of Science or College of Liberal Arts may be eligible. Must be from a single parent home during high school; preference given to students with FAFSA certified unmet financial need.
