I am from the sunshiny state of California. My hometown, Yreka, is located it what some call the State of Jefferson. From there I decided to go to Oregon State. I chose this university for the campus and the programs, which included the Honors College.I am the kind of person who likes to stay as busy as possible. I am in the OSU Marching Band (Go Beavs!) and have a couple jobs here on campus. So far Corvallis has treated me very well. There is always an opportunity to get involved in some way or another.
Currently I am majoring in Liberal Arts. Soon I am planning on taking an internship abroad with an emphasis on education and social welfare. Though I am not sure as to where I am going yet, I am extremely excited about the possibilities.
As for some interesting facts about me, I am just not sure what to say. My favorite childhood book is Ella Enchanted, I collect postcards form antique shops, I play the Alto Saxophone (and love it), and my favorite painting is called "Ocean Park #54" by a fella named Diebenkorn.
Another hobby of mine is meeting new people. I have a pretty easy-going, kind personality and love getting to know people. So if you ever see me in the SLUG please say hello! :)
