Curriculum
The Honors Baccalaureate degree is jointly awarded by the UHC and the college responsible for the student's major(s). University Honors College students select UHC requirements to complement their academic major. Each term students meet with an advisor in their academic department and an advisor in the UHC.
The Role of your Honors College Advisor
Being a member of both the OSU community and the Honors community you have the privilege of having two advisors. You will be assigned an advisor from your major and you will also have an advisor within the UHC. While both advisors are here to guide you through your undergraduate career successfully, the role of your advisors is unique. Advisors are advocates for students, helping them make informed decisions about their academic and life plans. In the Honors College two advisors are here to support you in meeting your academic and personal goals. Although Honors College advisors have specific college specializations, either advisor can assist you at any time.
