The University Honors College is a small college in the larger University. With about 500 students, it offers the benefits of small classes, a residence hall option, student learning centers and personal advising with the involvement and research opportunities of OSU. The goal is to earn the Honors Baccalaureate degree, one of about a dozen such degrees offered in the nation. University Honors College students work closely with faculty, have challenging curricula, and complete a thesis.

Yes! There are limited scholarships available to entering UHC students, and a number of exciting and attractive scholarship, fellowship, internship, and degree program opportunities available to UHC students.
The UHC faculty comes from all departments on campus. Professors have the opportunity to submit any ideas for classes that they would like to teach, and the UHC picks the courses. No classes are taught by Teaching Assistants; almost all of the UHC faculty are tenured-track professors, sometimes hand-picked by students.
There is no extra tuition charge for the UHC; however, there is a $250 per term UHC resource fee. It can be waived in certain circumstances; contact the University Honors College office for more information.
