Extension and Research Interests:

My academic appointment is 70% research, 25% extension and 5% service.  My program focuses on providing research based solutions to high value irrigated cropping systems.  Specifically, I am interested in creating protocols for crop production system optimization to increase yields while reducing negative environmental impacts.  I intend on facilitating the introduction of new crops to the Columbia basin to provide unique and profitable ventures for new and existing growers.  I enjoy working and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to advance the regional, national and international knowledge base.
