The Council consists of one graduate faculty member from each College appointed by the Faculty Senate Executive Committee and a graduate student representative selected by the Graduate Student Association. The Chair shall be a faculty member with immediate prior experience on the Council. The Dean and Associate Dean of the Graduate School and a member of the Graduate Admissions Committee shall be ex-officio, non-voting members.
